The American Red Cross, Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter is not a government agency. Our programs and services are made possible primarily through the generous support of individuals, businesses, organizations, and foundations. We depend on the people and corporate citizens of metro Atlanta to make the financial commitment necessary to ensure a healthier, safer community for everyone. To that end, we strive to create partnerships with companies that reflect our brand values and strength to foster genuine and mutually beneficial alliances.

We believe in creating fully integrated relationships that can grow and evolve over time to meet the changing needs of your company, and that position you as a company supporting the issues and concerns closest to your customers’ and employees’ hearts.

Here are just a few ways that a Red Cross partnership can benefit your company:

  • Align with the Red Cross Brand – Your company will receive a positive association aligning with America’s favorite and most trusted charity.
  • Market Differentiation – In a crowded marketplace, Red Cross tie-ins can help your company distinguish itself from competitors by offering consumers the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful.
  • Plan and Train for Emergencies – Protect your employees with Red Cross first aid, CPR and AED training.
  • Engage Your Employees – Provide your workforce with opportunities to participate in Red Cross volunteer and educational programs.
  • Create Loyalty - A Cone Roper study indicates that 87% of employees at companies with a cause-marketing program indicate a strong sense of loyalty to their employer.

United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta is our largest single funding partner, providing $3.5 million in support. United Way invests in local programs that make our community stronger and safer and help people live better lives. It helps people from every part of our community work together on important human care issues, and it is committed to making lasting improvements on those issues.

The Coca-Cola Company awarded the Chapter a three-year $1 million grant to provide disaster-preparedness education to Title I schools and their surrounding communities. With the help of AmeriCorps volunteers, the Chapter is training school staff in first aid, CPR and AEDs; providing curriculum materials for Red Cross disaster courses; teaching students to deliver community disaster education; and outfitting schools with supplies and training materials. The grant also supports leadership training for disaster volunteers.

The Home Depot is helping the Red Cross prepare our community for the unexpected. A three-year national partnership includes the sale of co-branded disaster supplies kits at Home Depot stores and in-store events that teach families how to prepare for emergencies.

Delta Air Lines' spirit of giving is evident in their longstanding partnership with the American Red Cross. The company generously provides free transportation for Red Cross relief workers who have been deployed to disaster sites, and for additional chapter travel needs. Delta also conducts ongoing blood drives and provides ticket incentives in support of Blood Services, Southern Region. Delta employees graciously donate their time, talent and leadership to the Red Cross.
