Delivery Methods

The American Red Cross offers multiple delivery methods that can be selected and combined to find the delivery method that is best suited to the needs of your organization.

Full Service. In this method an instructor is scheduled and sent to your location(s) to provide the requested training, usually to a minimum of eight (8) students. Our instructor arrives with all materials that are needed to teach the class. Our instructor leaves at the end of the scheduled time and your students will receive their certification cards in the mail. You just pick up the phone, schedule the date and time and we do the rest.

Authorized Provider. This popular option allows you to designate any number of your associates to be trained as Red Cross Instructors. Through our Authorized Provider Agreement, they are able to conduct a class at any of your locations at any time someone needs training. This option reduces overall costs, and allows for great convenience and flexibility on the part of your organization.

Community Based. This option allows you to send students to one of our Chapter locations to attend a class that has already been scheduled by the Chapter. Our Customer Service Team is available to help you explore this option and find the easiest way to get your students registered in these community classes.

Blended Learning (Scheduled to begin in early 2006). This new delivery method will allow your students to study the course offering online from any computer that has internet access. The students learn at their own level of comfort and are able to test out and complete sections of the program. Once they have completed the online learning portion, they print out their test results and attend an instructor led skills session. It is in the skill session that the student demonstrates their ability to perform the life-saving skills they have learned.
